MAPS Course Instructor: AI Adoption in Public Service Organizations
This one-day, in-person course will take place on May 12, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the OSU campus.
For over 50 years, the John Glenn College of Public Affairs has delivered high-quality continuing education across all stages of personal and professional development. Our courses and programs cover a variety of practical topics through interactive learning that is facilitated by dynamic and nationally recognized instructors who are committed to enhancing the quality of public service.

Prepare tomorrows public and nonprofit leaders through education, training, and professional development;
Help solve public problems and build knowledge in the field of public affairs through interdisciplinary research; and,
Integrate knowledge from inside and outside the university and transfer that knowledge to external stakeholders in the public, nonprofit, and private sectors across Ohio, the nation, and the globe.
Our long-term vision is to serve as a model in public higher education for producing democratic citizens and public and nonprofit leaders, and creating, translating, and applying research that serves the public interest across the State of Ohio and the nation.
Position Responsibilities
Prepare instruction materials, such as, presentations and workbooks, for training courses that align with a specific topic.
Work with professional development staff to prepare for in-person or virtual training courses.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree plus previous experience teaching AI topics to public service professionals
