The incumbent is responsible for gathering requirements and designing, building, and maintaining applications and databases that support reporting and data submissions for enterprise quality initiatives and collaborative programs. This role brings deep expertise in healthcare data and Large Language Models (LLMs)/Generative AI to develop innovative data solutions that enhance workflow efficiency, decision‑making, and clinical outcomes.
The incumbent works across structured and unstructured data, develops and evaluates robust machine learning models, and implements LLM‑powered workflows with a strong emphasis on safety, privacy, regulatory compliance, and bias mitigation. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable, high‑impact solutions.
The incumbent is expected to lead complex projects focused on workflow automation, intelligent automation, and optimization of data structures. Success in this role requires strong intellectual curiosity, a passion for solving complex technical challenges, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment. This is a fixed-hybrid role which will require you to be onsite as required by operational need; there are no reimbursements for travel to "home office" location. Each employee must complete a Hybrid Work Agreement with their manager which will outline arrangement parameters and aids both parties in fully understanding expectations. Arrangements are regularly evaluated, and are subject to termination.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is 95,400 - $208,300 annually. . The budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is approximately between the start and midpoint.
