We’re seeking an innovative and data-driven Organic Search Manager to lead our SEO and GEO initiatives across all facets of our online business. This role combines analytical insight, creative execution, and thought leadership to drive growth through organic channels. You’ll be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive organic search strategies, optimizing content and technical performance, and mentoring a team.

Here are the specifics:
Analyze (25%)
Conduct in-depth market, user, and competitive research to identify opportunities for organic growth across product and content categories
Perform detailed site audits to uncover technical, structural, and on-page optimization opportunities
Monitor and interpret key SEO performance metrics—including rankings, organic traffic, AI citations, SERP features, and conversion rates—to assess effectiveness and guide strategy
Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional teams and leadership
Stay ahead of search algorithm updates, platform changes, and industry trends to anticipate and adapt to evolving organic search landscapes
Develop (25%)
Create and refine full-funnel SEO and GEO strategies that align with business goals and drive measurable results, from crawl discovery through to E-commerce conversion
Partner with content, product, and marketing teams to develop demand-centric content strategies, including product pages, landing pages, and editorial content
Design and implement on-page and off-page optimization plans, including technical improvements, structured data, and authority-building initiatives
Collaborate with technology teams to ensure organic search considerations are integrated into site architecture, performance, and user experience
Identify and communicate new opportunities for keyword targeting, content expansion, and organic experimentation
Manage (50%)
Recruit, lead and mentor a team of organic search specialists & strategists, setting clear goals, KPIs, and development plans
Oversee the execution of all organic search initiatives, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with strategic priorities
Manage the SEO budget, tools, and platforms—driving productivity and ensuring smart investment in resources
Communicate progress, performance updates, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders
Champion a culture of continuous improvement by optimizing team workflows, refining processes, developing experiments, and fostering collaboration across departments
Ensure all organic search initiatives enhance both user experience and business outcomes

What you’ll need to succeed in this position:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Advertising, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in search engine optimization for Ecommerce websites
Experience leading a team, either in an unofficial or official capacity
Proven experience coaching others on the fundamental SEO elements: content, links & technical
Expert at website analysis: page-level, domain-level and competitive analysis
Expert at communicating technical SEO changes to software engineering teams & securing buy-in
Experience with website migrations, demonstrating knowledge of HTTP status codes & their use cases
Proficient in reading and editing HTML code using associated tools
Experience with numerous keyword tools (Google, SEMrush, etc.), including bulk analysis via API
Skillful with website crawling platforms such as DeepCrawl, Botify, or Screaming Frog
Proficient with Microsoft Windows operating system, especially Microsoft Excel
Experience with Ecommerce websites required (blog experience is a plus)
Experience with SEO experimentation platforms a plus (seoClarity, RankScience, SearchPilot, SplitSignal, etc.)
Experience with leveraging generative AI to scale operations is a plus
