Job Description
This position is a 3 year term.
The department of Engineering and Engineering Technology at St. Cloud State University is accepting applications for a full-time, fixed-term faculty position in Electrical Engineering. The department houses ABET accredited programs in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering. Details of the programs can be found at https://www.stcloudstate.edu/ece/ .
Salary Range: $64,963 - $188,620/annually
Minimum Qualifications
B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Teaching experience in the areas of analog electronics or digital electronics.
Evidence of demonstrated ability to teach and work with people from culturally diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualification
Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
Teaching experience in the area of analog electronics or embedded systems with microcontrollers.
Industrial experience in electronics design, embedded system applications.
Research experience in the areas of power electronics, power systems, digital control applications, digital signal processing applications, artificial intelligence, or wireless commications.
Experience in engaging students in research or development work.
Demonstrated ability to develop externally sponsored projects.
Experience with ABET or other accreditation. Willingness to work overseas.
