Post-Doctoral Associate/Research Scientist
The Department of Philosophy and the Center for Mind, Brain, and Consciousness at New York University invite applications for up to three Post-Doctoral Associate or Research Scientist positions, with areas of specialization in philosophy of artificial intelligence and philosophy of mind, to begin Spring or Fall of 2026, pending administrative and budgetary approval. These may be one-year or two-year appointments, possibly renewable depending on funding. These positions are associated with grants to Professor David Chalmers for projects on artificial consciousness and related topics at the intersection of artificial intelligence and the philosophy of mind (possibly including AI mentality, AI interpretability
