AI4CE lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate to work in AI and Robotics.

The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NYU Tandon educates future engineers who develop the physical systems and devices that modern society demands, from automobiles to air conditioning, prosthetic limbs to autonomous machines, and rocket engines to satellites. Our faculty is breaking new ground in controls and robotic systems, computer-integrated mechanical and electromechanical systems, the modeling and simulation of complex systems, and fluid and thermal systems, among other areas.
Expectations
Candidates will be working on research and teaching related to AI and Robotics. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in this area as exemplified by a strong publication record. Previous experience on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) and International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) is necessary.
Salary range
In compliance with NYC?s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $62,500, depending on the candidate?s experience and qualification.
Candidates should have a PhD in engineering, computer science, or related field. We welcome applicants with recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
