Research Associate in the Division of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) - Dr. Je Ir Ryu
The Energy and Propulsion Laboratory in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit multiple research / postdoctoral associate to work on aerospace propulsion.The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project on the emerging technologies for propulsion systems. Responsibilities will include but not limited to fundamental studies of reactive flow, chemical kinetics, combustion, and detonation, for a wide range of propulsion applications including gas turbine engines for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), sustainable aviation fuels for urban air mobility (UAM), and rocket/hypersonic propulsion systems. The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.
