Lower and Middle School Innovation Teacher
Newtown Friends School seeks a creative, forward-thinking educator to lead our newly designed Innovation Space. This teacher will build and lead an engaging, hands-on program in coding, robotics, engineering, design thinking, and STEAM for students in Grades PreK–8. The Innovation Teacher will design curriculum from the ground up, creating developmentally appropriate learning experiences that foster curiosity, problem-solving, collaboration, and resilience. Students will explore programming (e.g., Scratch, Python), robotics platforms (LEGO, VEX), circuits and electronics, 3D design and printing, digital storytelling, media production, and applied engineering challenges.
