The School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University, is seeking applications for a full-time 12-month, tenure-track or tenured faculty appointment at the rank of assistant or associate professor with neuroscience/neurobiology research expertise in the mechanisms, prevention, modulation, or treatment of pain/neuropathies. All candidates must have a PhD degree, postdoctoral training, and active NIH funding. The successful applicant will contribute to the teaching of basic science courses in the dental curriculum and in the graduate program, and participate in service at the college, university and/or national levels, as appropriate for their academic rank. The successful candidate will pos
