The Center for Technology, Economics, and Development (CTED) at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications from individuals to be appointed as a Research Assistant for a one-year period. The anticipated appointment is expected to start no later than September 1, 2025 (or earlier). The Research Assistant will play an integral role in supporting the research efforts and data analysis for CTED’s projects. Specifically, the individual will conduct research on issues of AI and blockchain and commodities markets, and complete other miscellaneous tasks under the direction of Principal Investigator Dr. Yaw Nyarko. The ideal candidate will have experience using statistical software (STATA and Matlab), have strong writing skills, and be knowledgeable of the research project
