POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is actively seeking a skilled Interventional/Diagnostic Radiologist to join and support our practice on the Space Coast, primarily at Rockledge Regional Medical Center in Rockledge, FL, and Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL. At RAF, we emphasize a collaborative, team-based approach, offering our new Radiologist the chance to work with a seasoned team of subspecialists. This role offers a blend of remote diagnostic work and on-site interventional radiology, providing flexibility and work-life balance. The position is full-time, dayshift only, with no weekend call or night shifts required. This role is being crafted to help with IR coverage onsite as needed with the balance of remaining shifts reading remotely from the comfort of your home.

Our practice not only fosters internal collaboration but also supports colleagues across our network. Radiologists in this division are encouraged to assist with vacation coverage for peers at local sister sites. In the Space Coast region, we proudly serve several reputable medical facilities, including Rockledge Regional Medical Center, Melbourne Regional Medical Center, Sebastian River Medical Center, and Parrish Medical Center.

Rockledge Regional Medical Center, a cornerstone of healthcare in Brevard County, features 298 beds and a comprehensive range of healthcare services and programs. Melbourne Regional Medical Center, with 119 private rooms designed for patient comfort, is another beacon of healthcare excellence. Sebastian River Medical Center, licensed for 178 beds, serves the communities of Sebastian and Vero Beach with dedication. Additionally, Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL, a 210-bed hospital known for its innovative evidence-based healing design, has earned national recognition as one of America’s finest healing environments. These esteemed medical facilities are committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and accessible care to the Space Coast community.

We are seeking a candidate with robust clinical skills in all aspects of interventional and diagnostic radiology. While MQSA certification is a plus, it is not required.

RAF is the largest radiology practice in Florida. We serve the most prestigious, established health systems in the state, including on the east and west coasts, the Florida Panhandle, and the Keys. Our scale affords our practice stability and affords our radiologists flexibility in study mix and scheduling. We also recognize that scale alone does not beget excellence. We are quality-oriented, and we practice radiology at the cutting edge, encouraging subspecialty-level interpretations across the practice, and facilitating collaboration and consultation between our radiologists. Our state-of-the-art IT suite includes universal PACS across the practice, AI tools, and integrated doc-to-doc communication widgets. 

Our practice is locally and democratically led, with decisions vested in the hands of the group at large, rather than in a few founders or a small group of shareholders. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. In Sarasota, our physicians staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in         the practice of Diagnostic Radiology 
•    Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American                   Osteopathic Board of Radiology 
•    MQSA certified would be a plus
•    Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of FL
