POSITION SUMMARY

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is seeking a General Radiologist to join their practice in Pensacola, FL. This is a full-time day shift opportunity working Monday- Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. This position will share its time between the inpatient and outpatient setting serving Sacred Heart Hospital, Optimal Imaging, and Pensacola Open MRI. Sacred Heart is a 560+-bed hospital located in sunny Pensacola, FL. Sacred Heart Pensacola is the flagship hospital for Ascension in the Panhandle of Florida. It is a level-II trauma center, the region’s only Pediatric Trauma Referral Center, and the area’s only nationally certified Comprehensive Stroke Center. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with all aspects of diagnostic radiology. 

This is a partnership track eligible position with a Q7 weekend remote call requirement. We offer an excellent and highly competitive compensation package to include a full range of benefits, 8 weeks PTO and holidays, 401K, and med mal. We also offer an internal moonlighting program with unmatched flexibility, allowing radiologists to moonlight from home as much or as little as they prefer, without having to commit to extra shifts.

Radiology Associates of Florida (RAF) is a leading radiology practice in Florida. In Pensacola, our radiologists have the opportunity to join the faculty of Florida State University where we provide diagnostic and interventional radiology instruction to the medical students. Pediatric residents from University of Florida who are doing residencies in Pensacola take pediatric radiology electives with our radiologists. We are the teaching physicians for the University of South Florida Department of Radiology in Tampa. Our radiologists who are not living in Tampa may apply to be adjunct faculty in this department.  In Sarasota, our physicians’ staff the Florida State University College of Medicine, hosting medical students in their 3rd and 4th years. We also invite residents from the FSU Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine Residency programs to rotate in our departments.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Fellows and residents welcome to apply
• Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology 
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
• Completed one year of post-residency fellowship training in any subspecialty would be preferred, but not required
• Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the State of FL
