We are seeking a Technical Paralegal – eDiscovery to support our legal team in managing electronic discovery (eDiscovery) processes, litigation support databases, and case-related data management. The ideal candidate will have experience in eDiscovery tools, document review workflows, and litigation technology. This role is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized professional looking to grow in the legal technology and litigation support field.
What you’ll do in your role.
eDiscovery & Case Management
Assist with managing the eDiscovery lifecycle, including data collection, processing, review, and production.
Support legal teams in organizing and maintaining eDiscovery workflows and document review processes.
Coordinate with attorneys, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure accurate and timely data processing.
Database & Technology Support
Maintain and update litigation support databases such as Relativity, Casepoint, or Everlaw.
Ensure proper tagging, indexing, and organization of case-related data.
Support quality control efforts by ensuring accuracy and completeness of electronic document productions.
Technology-Assisted Review (TAR) & Legal Research
Assist in implementing predictive coding and TAR workflows to streamline document review.
Conduct basic legal research and case analysis using litigation support tools.
Litigation & Organizational Support
Prepare exhibits, legal holds, and discovery materials for attorneys.
Assist in drafting legal hold notices and tracking custodian compliance.
Support attorneys and legal teams in trial preparation and document management.
The experience you’ll bring.
Education & Experience:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2+ years of experience in eDiscovery, legal technology, or litigation support.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Casepoint, Everlaw, Nuix, Brainspace).
Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, and litigation support databases.
Basic understanding of AI-driven review tools and workflow automation.
Legal & Compliance Knowledge:
Understanding of eDiscovery processes, legal holds, and FRCP compliance.
Ability to assist attorneys in legal research and document organization.
Project Management & Communication Skills:
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Relativity Certified User (RCU) or other eDiscovery-related certifications.
Experience supporting regulatory investigations or government inquiries.
