The Department of Business Administration in the College of Business at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Management. This is a full-time, 9-month position with a standard teaching load of six courses per academic year. The appointment will begin in Fall 2025.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic individual committed to strengthening the Management major, which is part of a department that includes programs in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, and Marketing. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and graduate management curriculum and provide support to the College’s broader programs, including the MBA and MHA degrees.
Qualifications:
Ph.D. or equivalent in Management from an accredited institution, with qualifications to be recognized as a Scholarly Academic under AACSB standards by the time of appointment.
A demonstrated record of scholarly activity and peer-reviewed publications sufficient to maintain AACSB faculty qualification as a Scholarly Academic.
Proven experience and effectiveness in teaching at the college level, with the ability to employ a variety of teaching methods.
Preferred specialization in business strategy, though knowledge and teaching experience in other areas of management, particularly human resources, are highly desirable.

Responsibilities: The successful candidate will:
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Management.
Engage in scholarly research leading to peer-reviewed publications.
Contribute to departmental service, including curriculum development and student recruitment initiatives.
