The Department of Chemistry at Stony Brook University seeks to hire a tenure track faculty member at the Associate or Full Professor level to begin in Fall 2025 with expertise in any field of chemistry. Candidates at the Assistant Professor level will be considered if they are imminently prepared to apply for promotion to Associate Professor. The applicant must have a Ph.D. in Chemistry or a related field. Emphasis will be placed on candidates with an interest in and overlap with Stony Brook University?s strategic priorities in the areas of climate, artificial intelligence, and/or quantum information science. The new faculty member is expected to have already established a vibrant, extramu
