Thoracic Radiologist
The University of Florida College of Medicine and UF Health are seeking a Thoracic Radiologist to join the Department of Radiology. The department is expanding to meet growing patient care needs and to advance the academic missions, including education at all levels and independent and collaborative research. Academic rank and track will be determined based on the applicant’s academic achievements and experience.

Position Overview: The Department of Radiology at University of Florida College of Medicine and UF Health are committed to the faculty and seek applicants for the Thoracic Imaging position who desire a team environment, subspecialty work, and opportunities to shape a unique career that involves clinical, academic, and leadership pursuits. All faculty are involved in teaching residents and fellows as well as collaborating with faculty and learners in other departments. The Division of Thoracic Imaging specializes in all facets of thoracic imaging, particularly oncology, interstitial lung disease, and critical in-patient care. Duties and Responsibilities
Regular shifts from 8am to 5pm, with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday coverage. Remote work is around 25% with most on-calls covered remote.
Responsibilities include plain film radiography, CT, and MR interpretation (including cardiac or Aortic CTA).
Engage in clinical and imaging operations, education, training, and faculty development.
Support research and innovation, potentially serving as PI or Co-I on grants and clinical trials.
Represent the Department on various committees.
Job Requirements
MD, D.O., or equivalent degree.
Board certification in Radiology (ABR, AOBR) is preferred, but not required.
Fellowship in Thoracic Imaging.
Eligibility for licensure in the Florida license.
