Part-Time Lecturer in German Studies / Sociology / Philosophy
 New York University (NYU) Berlin is seeking a part-time lecturer to teach a course on "German Intellectual Tradition" in the Spring 2025 semester. We welcome proposals for a specific theme that is of relevance to today?s students. As an example, a previous version of the course focussed on the theme of "power", examining critiques, ideas, and analyses of power through (primarily) German-speaking 19th and 20th century social and political thought. Students read a selection of works by authors including Sigmund Freud, Sabina Spielrein, Friedrich Nietzsche, Bertolt Brecht, Karl Marx, Max Weber, Rosa Luxemburg, Walter Benjamin,
