Postdoctoral Research Associate

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our interdisciplinary team focused on exploring AI-driven constraints and tradeoffs in complex networks such as synthetic biological networks, epidemic networks, and engineered interconnected systems. The successful candidate will engage in cutting-edge research at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biology, and engineering, working closely with Ph.D. and graduate students to develop innovative solutions. The role involves deep analysis of complex systems, the preparation of detailed research reports, and the effective communication of findings to diverse audiences. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of AI-driven methodologies in synthetic biology and network engineering within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D. (expected or obtained) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in mentoring and collaborating with Ph.D. and graduate students.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to prepare and present comprehensive reports.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific material to both specialized and general audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
