Job Summary: The Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is seeking an Assistant Professor to develop a vibrant experimental research program in high-speed, compressible, single- or multi-phase fluid dynamics with applications in aerospace, energy, or related fields.The ideal candidate will be interested in collaborative research and be an integral contributor to the Engineering Mechanics/Aerospace (EMA) undergraduate and graduate programs, which are housed in the ME Department. In view of the expanding aerospace engineering industry and employment opportunities, the ME Department seeks to strengthen and grow its Aerospace Engineering teaching and research profile.
