The following represent the prior job duties with other possible responsibilities assigned as needed:
- Reporting and Data Visualization: Develop ARGOS reporting dashboards that integrate data from CRM Recruit, Ellucian Banner, and other systems. Architect and translate complex datasets into intuitive visualizations and dashboards using data visualization tools such as Argos, Power BI, or Tableau, ensuring the accessibility of insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Prepares monthly, annual, and ad hoc reports to support the operations and management of CICS and each of the units in the college. Works closely with departmental customers to conduct business analysis and identify business objectives and requirements to create detailed specifications for all developed reports.
- System Testing, Development, and Modification: Designs, develops, supports, maintains, and enhances business application systems. Formulates and executes test scripts and performs detailed testing to ensure that the implemented software functions correctly. Collaborates in software evaluation and enters moderate to complex software configurations to meet user needs. Collaborates with technical, reporting, and application resources to analyze and resolve moderate to complex production issues. Provides input into possible solutions.
- Business Process Analysis, Documentation, and Redesign: Assist in the analysis, documentation, and redesign of current business processes within CICS, aiming to improve efficiency and decision-making through the application of advanced analytics, generative AI (genAI), and machine learning.
- Project Management: Lead CICS technology projects by defining and documenting project goals and timelines; tracking and confirming project milestones; and coordinating project resources. This role prepares project scope of work statements and may manage internal and external projects, including managing vendor partners, that may be complex and cross-divisional to ensure that the goals are met, deliverables are appropriate to the goal, and that the project is completed on time and on-budget. Balance competing demands and multiple projects simultaneously with good prioritization approaches.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned by the Assistant Vice President and Dean.
