A postdoctoral position is available to study AI-enabled disease detection in wildlife at Yale University. This position is part of a collaborative project between Yale, the Smithsonian?s Movement of Life Initiative, and Microsoft AI for Good. The position will be based in the laboratory of Dr. Vanessa Ezenwa in the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (https://ezenwalab.yale.edu/), and the postdoc will lead efforts to develop, test, and validate a machine learning-based pipeline for identifying and extracting data on large mammals from high-resolution satellite imagery.
