The Department of Radiological Sciences is dedicated to conducting leading-edge research, providing the highest quality clinical education and delivering state-of-the-art care to our patients through the advanced diagnosis and treatment of disease through biomedical research. Our department scientists and physicians are constantly working to develop new technologies and imaging techniques that will become the medical imaging examinations and medical interventions of tomorrow.
Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, the Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) will provide clinical research support to the Applied Artificial Intelligence Research (A2IR) unit under the UCI Institute for Precision Health (IPH) by providing comprehensive coordination and data management of research studies and sponsored clinical trials according to Good Clinical Practices (GCP), internal standard operating procedure (SOPs), and University policies and procedures.
What It Takes to be Successful
Ability to think critically in compiling and reviewing data from various sources. Required
Demonstrated ability to perform scientific research including properly evaluating information and preparing concise, well-organized reports and correspondence. Required
Database creation and maintenance using Excel and/or other relational databases Required
Research experience especially with IRB, HIPAA and other regulatory documents, study coordination and familiar with GCP and ethical conduct of research. Required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required
Ability to interact with the public, faculty, and staff. Required
Ability to establish and maintain files and records. Required
High level of integrity and honesty in maintaining confidentiality. Required
Familiar with UC system experience and knowledge of UC policies and procedures. Preferred
Familiar with internal systems such as EPIC, PACS, Redcap, OnCore, and Kuali Financial System Preferred
Required:
Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
A minimum of 3 years of experience 3 to 5 years of related work experience
