Description: The research associate will assist the development of AI and data analytics labs, and AI-based educational materials for training graduate and undergraduate students with the artificial intelligence and machine learning tools applied to precision agriculture, bioprocessing, and bioenergy conversion. The successful candidate will conduct research on AI technologies and predictive analytics applied to bioenergy, precision agriculture, and bioprocessing for the two projects funded by U.S. Department of Agriculture and NSF, assist training graduate and undergraduate students, and participate in proposal and manuscript writing.Primary Function of Organizational Unit: North Carolina Agricultura
