Position Summary:
The Department of Graduate Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at Yeshiva University's Katz School of Science and Health is seeking a full-time faculty member to work in our STEM programs. Reporting to the Chair, this position will be responsible for the development of course syllabi; instruction, mentorship, and leading the development and coordination of STEM student capstone/internship projects; evaluation of course success and student learning outcomes; student recruitment and retention; and University, School, and Departmental committee service.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Develop and write syllabi for coursework taught in multiple programs, and teach students at the Department of Graduate CSE, in both lectures and laboratories.
Advise STEM students.
Manage and Coordinate STEM student capstone/internship projects.
Participate in university and community service activities, as well as Katz School scholarship activities and projects.
Collaborate and innovate with members of the Katz School faculty on interdisciplinary STEM and Health Science projects
Participate in STEM program self-assessment projects, accreditation activities, student recruitment events, and retention initiatives.
Experience & Educational Background:
At least an MS degree (Preferably a Ph.D. degree) in computer science, AI/machine learning, cybersecurity, or a related field. ABD candidates graduating before fall 2024 semester are eligible.
Demonstrated expertise in both research and practice.
Higher education teaching experience preferred.
Strong Industry experience and network preferred.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $180,000
