About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 13 Director, Internal Product Management - Upstream Business Data Processing
Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and talented Director of Internal Product Management to lead the business and data requirements of our Upstream business data processing solution. They will partner closely with stakeholders to define and drive clarity on the ongoing strategy driven evolution of our data. Those data roadmaps along with our AI and rationalization strategies will then be used to drive the respective data processing solution roadmaps for technology and development.
They will work closely with Data Operations leadership team, cross-functional teams, including product owners, software developers, designers, business data SMEs and product management teams to ensure successful data and processing solution strategies, feature launches and long-term product success.
Key Responsibilities:
Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on external product management feedback, business requirements and internal goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, SMEs and stakeholders to identify product requirements and prioritize feature development.
Identify and drive opportunities for incorporating AI/ML into existing workflows to optimize current operations.
Work closely with the product owners and software development team to ensure that products are developed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Monitor and analyze product performance and use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.
What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
At least 3-5 years of experience as a product manager, with a focus on data and content management systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
Experience applying AI/ML solutions for content classification and extraction.
Proven track record of developing and launching successful products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Experience creating compelling business cases with appropriate financial views aligned to divisional strategies and proven track record of pitching the same.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform product decisions.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Experience leading and managing people, include managers of managers.
Preferred, but not required: Knowledge of the upstream oil and gas industry, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and key players
