The Kinkaid School seeks a 6th grade Academic Enrichment teacher to join its Middle School team starting August 2024. The MS Academic Enrichment teacher will teach an academic enrichment course to all 6th grade students, supporting the development of study and executive functioning skills, and encompassing social-emotional learning, technology skills, and grammar/writing skills, extending the existing 5th grade Academic Enrichment curriculum.  Reporting to the Head of Middle School, the 6th grade Academic Enrichment teacher will promote high levels of learning in collaboration with the 6th grade team to teach learning skills engagingly and effectively using various teaching methods and curriculum resources.
