General DescriptionTo promote new and complementary initiatives in the development of AI research for determining habitual or best-corrected visual acuity at home or at local clinics throughout the world from a retinal image, and to coordinate global projects that leverage new retinal imaging devices within an infrastructure that could address childhood and adult blindness throughout the world, the Wilmer Eye Institute (Department of Ophthalmology - Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine) seeks a new faculty member, likely at the Assistant Professor level, to pursue these avenues of research in retina.
