Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is a second line function which works closely with our business partners to manage the bank's risk exposure by balancing its objective to maximise returns against an acceptable risk profile. We are responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management policies and processes and provide objective review and challenge on the activities undertaken by business and support units. This is to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions. In addition, we are responsible for monitoring and reporting on key risk issues as well as providing management and relevant Board committees with an independent assessment of the various risk profiles of DBS Group on a regular basis. The
