As Barclays Vice President of Model Risk Framework, you will be joining a team that is responsible for designing and rolling out Model Risk Frameworks that incorporate supervisory expectations and industry best practices to ensure a sustained best-in-class approach to Model Risk Management. The team you'll be working with will be in charge in incorporating feedback from key stakeholders to ensure governance objectives are achieved.

Salary/ Rate Minimum: $150,000
Salary/ Rate Maximum: $195,000

We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. We're flexible on how this works and it may continue to change and evolve. What will you be doing?

??? Aiding in development and maintenance of a sustained best-in-class Model Risk Management Framework that aligns and complies with supervisory expectations and industry best practices
??? Driving the development and embedment of a comprehensive AI/ML governance
??? Staying abreast of new developments in AI/ML and model risk related supervisory guidance; conducting gap analysis to identify areas of policy improvement and remediation
??? Acting as an ambassador for the Model Risk Management Framework, ensuring that the model risk framework is communicated in a simple, clear and concise way throughout the firm
??? Assisting business areas with answers to framework compliance questions
??? Building effective two-way relationships with other risk practices, finance and the business, to comprehend 1st line of defense feedback and ensure frameworks are understood
??? Assisting the generation of content for risk committees and other relevant forums
??? Interacting with Barclays Internal Audit, external audit and regulators and driving remediation actions to resolution as needed

What we're looking for:

??? Knowledge of SR11-7 and other applicable model risk regulatory expectations (e.g., CP6/22, SS3/18) for model risk management
??? Experience in developing frameworks and translating into standards and procedures
??? Model Risk framework or governance experience including both business and technical acumen
??? Experience in AI/ML including risks, benefits and governance operating model at enterprise level

Skills that will help you in the role:

??? Five years of relevant experience
??? A bachelor's degree or a master's degree in a financial or technical field
??? Solid stakeholder management skills across all levels of seniority, as well as influencing and communication skills, including presentation to senior audience
??? Proven track record of delivery under tight deadlines

Where will you be working?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
