The experimental neutrino physics group at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a postdoctoral research position, to begin in Summer 2023. Our research program includes work on the KATRIN neutrino-mass experiment and the COHERENT neutrino-scattering experiment. The successful applicant will be expected to make significant contributions to a new heavy-water Cherenkov detector to benchmark the flux of neutrinos for the COHERENT experiment, and to data-taking and analysis for KATRIN. In addition to their own research work, the successful applicant will work with and guide graduate and undergraduate students working on both experiments.
