General Description: This position promotes the Collegeâ™s mission through policies, procedures and collaborative efforts to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, student accounting, processing of accounts payable and disbursements, and payroll operations. Ensure that all operational accounting records of the College are recorded and maintained in within Commonwealth Accounting Policies and Procedures (CAPP) guidelines, Virginia Community College System (VCCS) policies and procedures, and any other applicable State or Federal law or regulation. This is an entry to mid-level position.Duties and Tasks:Provide technical accounting services and management of all funds (more than $300 million) administered by Northern Virginia Community College.This position takes care of the requisit
