Associate Director of Undergraduate Education

Description: The Associate Director coordinates the range of student and faculty support required by our undergraduate courses from the 100 to the 400 level, which serve over 7000 students each semester. The position will provide analysis of First Year Composition needs, historical success rates, and projected future needs based on class sizes and online changes. The position will also coordinate and execute growth plans for the English major and minor involving interdisciplinary partnerships; address increasingly complex plagiarism cases in the wake of AI developments; oversee the redevelopment of our curriculum; make contracts with students seeking alternate placement; adjudicate transfer petitions; assist with internal and recruitment publications; oversee the new internal Internships and Recruitment positions; and provide implementation support to both the Director of Undergraduate Studies (DUS) and the Director of First Year Composition (FYC).
